Multiple Car Accident
Vehicle 1 and Vehicle 2 were headed Northbound of on the highway approaching a construction zone. The hills on this road obstructed their view of the “Flagger” advising the vehicles to stop so a lead vehicle could escort them through the construction area.
Vehicle 1 was the first to brake, then swerved into the Southbound lane to avoid hitting the “Flagger.” Vehicle 2 braked and lost control swerving into the same lane as Vehicle 1. The “Flagger” was able to avoid being injured by jumping out of the way.
Vehicle 2 struck Vehicle 1 in the left rear part of the vehicle then did a 360 degree turn and settled into the ditch alongside the road.
All four passengers in Vehicle 1 were injured and transported to the hospital.
